FNX SOLUTIONS makes key Business Development appointments and reaps rewards
Philadelphia, July 12, 2005 - FNX Limited (FNX), a leading provider of next generation technology SOLUTIONS for treasury and capital markets, has delivered some impressive results in the first half of 2005 thanks to the recent expansion of its sales team along with key appointments in Business Development.
Mr. Paul Gibson has been promoted to VP of Global Business Development from Sales Director for Europe. Mr. Gibson has substantially contributed to FNX’s growth and success for more than
7 years. In his new role, Mr. Gibson leads an expanded global sales team that has already shown considerable success in securing new contracts and in filling an extremely healthy pipeline.
Mr. Gibson comments, “FNX has an exemplary record in delivering solutions to our clients and we value our long, mutually beneficial relationships with them. Our business development efforts are focused on understanding specific client needs and then offering appropriate solutions that are designed to minimize
risk while maximizing benefits. The delivery of our solutions has evolved to a more service based approach rather than the traditional license agreement. The expansion and evolution of the Business Development group has already reaped considerable rewards with four new contracts signed in the last month.”
Ms. Silke Zimmermann and Ms. Diana Snowdon have recently joined the FNX sales team in the London and New York offices respectively and report to Mr. Paul Gibson. Both have a background in banking which is consistent with FNX’s policy of employing people who are experienced in the industry.
Ms. Zimmermann started her career in the banking industry at Hessische Landesbank (Helaba) where she was in charge of treasury sales and dealt with money markets including derivatives, foreign exchange instruments, fixed income and interest rate swaps. Immediately before joining FNX, Ms. Zimmermann was at Eurobase where she was Sales Manager for the promotion of Treasury and Risk software to banks in the European region. Prior to that, Zimmermann worked for SunGard Treasury Systems as Sales Manager for Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Ms Diana Snowdon brings to FNX more than 15 years of trading and banking experience from prestigious institutions such as Bank of America, Bank of Montreal and American Express. Ms. Snowdon also worked as Sales Manager for Financial Models Company, Xpedite and Travelex Foreign Exchange, where she was most recently employed.
